The municipality of Buchrain and the canton of Lucerne offer various offers for pupils.
Music school Rontal
With the Rontal music school, the municipality of Buchrain offers musical activities for all ages. The community of Buchrain merged with the communities of Dierikon, Ebikon, Gisikon, Honau and Root in 2017 to form the Rontal Music School.
From the age of two, children can visit the song basket. With group lessons, children from the age of four are prepared for instrumental and singing lessons. Group lessons are offered in different areas and levels. The instrumental and singing lessons can be attended by pupils entering the first class. Over 30 instruments are offered. There are also different offers for adults, such as yodelling, rhythm or music and movement.
n addition to instrumental and singing lessons, various ensembles and orchestras are also offered. Young and adult musicians can play in groups. Buchrain invites you to sing together with the children's choir and the youth choir "The Smiles". Buchrain also offers chamber music, a guitar, flute and percussion ensemble.

Day-care parents (Tageseltern)
The Rontal plus day-care parents service is a joint offer from the municipalities of Buchrain, Dierikon, Ebikon, Root, Gisikon and Honau. It is affiliated with the kibe suisse association, childcare in Switzerland. The agency is affiliated with the Buchrain municipal administration in the social affairs department.
The care of a child at day-care parents is a segment of family-related childcare. The child benefits from constant, reliable care from a trusted caregiver. As parents, you maintain open and transparent communication with the day-care parents for the benefit of the child.
