Wind ensemble and lunchtime music

Wind Class
Music fosters much more than just listening skills – and Buchrain School makes use of this through its Wind Class project. The program is aimed at students in grades 3 and 4 and is run in cooperation with the Rontal Music School. Over the course of a school year, the children receive two lessons per week, where they learn a wind instrument and play together in an ensemble from the very beginning.

Music educator Sebastian Rosenberg supports the classes with great commitment. The goal is to provide a hands-on approach to music while helping students develop important personal and social skills such as consideration for others, self-control, perseverance, and a sense of community.

Music at Lunchtime

At Buchrain School’s lunchtime program, it’s not only about filling stomachs – it’s also about filling children’s hearts. During the weekly choir rehearsals, students discover the joy of singing. Singing makes you happy and it activates both hemispheres of the brain and strengthens emotional expression.

Under the direction of Aramea Müller, choir practice takes place every Monday as part of the school’s day program.
