Generations in the classroom

For several years now, we have been able to count on the support of senior citizens in individual classes.

With their patience, time and life experience, they bring variety to the lively school day and provide a valuable complement to classroom instruction.

The program is open to senior citizens from all professional backgrounds and is offered throughout the canton of Lucerne. No special qualifications or prior teaching experience are required. Seniors in the school promote dialogue and solidarity across generations, thereby fostering a deeper mutual understanding.

For everyone involved, the time spent together is a great enrichment.
