The 5 Senses

Today I blindfolded the children and fed them lemon. Do I have your attention? According to child development experts, a reasonable attention span to expect of a child is two to three minutes per year of their age. After that, you’ve lost them. I’m always looking for ways to get children excited about learning, so my team teacher and I created an experiment to learn how to describe tastes. The kids tried 4 different foods and explained how they tasted. A simple activity that breaks up the lesson. Ask any child in 4a what lemon tastes like, or what bland means, they will know.
