Halloween

With Halloween just around the corner, we are in the spirit to get spooky! Do you know what Halloween actually is? If you live in Kanton Luzern and are planning your Tuesday off, then you should!  

This week, we learned about the Celts and their belief that the ghosts of the dead returned to Earth on the night of 31st October. It’s speculated that the Catholic holiday ‘All Saints Day’ may have been an attempt to supersede the Pagan Festival of the Dead.
